How does IvyWise match counselors with students?
Each family is welcome to select the counselor or tutor that they want to work with, depending on availability. We focus on finding the counselor that best matches your student’s personality, interests, learning style, schedule, and your family’s budget.
Do I need to apply to become an IvyWise student?
We welcome the opportunity to work with all students and their families and we work on a first-come, first-serve basis.

No. Our focus is to help each student find the schools that will be the best matches for them. Our class of 2024 students received over 900 acceptances from over 200 different institutions – including all eight Ivy Leagues, Stanford, and MIT, among many others.
Each family is welcome to select the counselor or tutor that they want to work with, depending on availability. We focus on finding the counselor that best matches your student’s personality, interests, learning style, schedule, and your family’s budget.
The first step is to get in touch with our expert enrollment advisors. We can discuss your plans and goals on the call.
The Discovery Call with our enrollment team is free of charge so we can learn more about you and help you select the best-fit counselor for your Initial Consultation. The Initial Consultation is the first step of our customized admissions programs, and it is a paid service. The consultation includes a 90-minute meeting with your counselor, a Profile Building Catalog, an in-depth profile review, and valuable feedback.
